More Meet-Outdoors.info Information
How many times have you thought, or heard from other people, that it was
hard to find people with the same interests? Where do you look? I
know that I personally had trouble - finding people interested in the outdoors.
Especially finding people that enjoy the "extreme" activities that I am involved in. We
created this website to be the answer! Join Meet-Outdoors.info now and start finding people
with the interests that you are looking for!
What makes this site different from other sites?
Quite simply, we really want to help you quickly find the person, or
people, you are looking for. Some
other sites have limited interests that you can choose from, but we have a full range of interests, and have even taken it a step
further. We allow you to select not only the interest, but also the
interest level for your activities. Of
course, you can also perform searches based off a certain interest level, including if you
only like to watch the activity. This
allows you to find people at any specific skill level. You could find people that are the same caliber as you to
train with, people that might be able to help teach you a new interest, or
people that you are most compatible with for a relationship! We also allow
searching by location, broken down by interest!
What is that? You do not have the time to continually search our site to see if members
match your desired interests? Set up automatic search profiles in our
Ranger section, and members that match your criteria will be automatically
e-mailed to you. This is a service some other sites charge for, but it's
free here!
I had personally posted my information on several other internet sites in the past, and was disappointed at how some sites were just trying to
scam people into joining. Many
sites would not allow you to read e-mails, and some even restricted the
searching capability until you joined. Not
us. It is free to join.
You have full access to all of the search capabilities, and we do not
restrict any e-mail viewing.
You have complete control over your account on this site. You can
choose to enable or disable your entire profile. You may choose to
temporarily shut your profile off if you have met someone for a relationship or
to train with. You can also input multiple ads. Maybe you are
looking for a relationship as well as a training partner. Each one can
have a different ad. Each ad can also be enabled and disabled! You
can add members to a hot list. This works much like the favorites in your
browser. You also have an ignore list so you aren't bombarded with
messages from people that you don't want to hear from. Your profile is
totally flexible based on your current needs!
Your information is safe. You choose whether or not you want to
receive special offers from our partners based on your selected interests!
You can also choose to subscribe to our newsletter. Everything is
controlled inside your profile!
We want your experience to be as pleasant as possible. You will never
have annoying pop up advertising windows from this site! In the future, we
may put SMALL banner ads up at the top of the page, but they will be tailored
specifically to your interests!
Does it sound to good to be true? It isn't! We really do want to
help you meet people with your desired interests and interest levels.

Note: Most navigation is done through the button bars located at the top and bottom
of every page. Simply click on the button that corresponds to your desired action. Some
pages, such as the update page, will have sub-section links that you click on. If you
need help with individual pages at any time, click on the
'Help! I'm Lost!' button on either the top or bottom button toolbar.
This website is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer v4 or better, with a screen resolution
of at least 800x600 for optimal viewing. We recommend at least a 56K connection, using
Microsoft Internet Explorer v5, and screen resolution of 1024x768. Although, the site will
work with less bandwidth, as well as lower screen resolutions.
